Since 2021, Kredinor has been carrying out due diligence to meet the requirements of the Norwegian Transparency Act. We have reviewed our guidelines to ensure that a philosophy of accountability is embedded across our organisation. In accordance with this, we will map and evaluate any adverse impacts on fundamental human rights and decent working conditions in our operations. We will then implement measures to prevent and limit adverse impacts in our enterprise.
We want supplier follow-up to be simple and clear. To achieve this, we have prepared a code of conduct that our suppliers must accept and comply with. Accountability is one of the topics covered by the code, which in particular focuses on working conditions, human rights, environmental protection and anti-corruption. We also expect our suppliers to meet requirements relating to international and European standards for accountability and human rights.
Section 5 of the Norwegian Transparency Act requires companies to publish an account of due diligence. We will publish our account on our website from June 2023.
